"I think there can be an agreement": Guillermo Francos opened the door to an alliance with the PRO party in the city.

Chief of Staff Guillermo Francos announced Wednesday that La Libertad Avanza (LLA) could reach an agreement with the PRO in the City of Buenos Aires , following the dispute between the two parties in the Buenos Aires legislative elections on May 18.
"I suppose so. I think there could be an agreement . In the Province, we formed an alliance when no one else thought of it," the official told TN . The deadline for submitting legislative alliances for the October 26 elections is August 7.
Francos also referred to the new agreement between five governors to compete in October against the LLA and a sector of Peronism, commenting: "I don't think it's abnormal; it seems like something within the realm of democratic electoralism. I think it's a good idea to compete; perhaps this will mobilize more people to participate. In this election, we discussed the achievements this government is making."
